SPORT FOOTBALL PREMIERSHIP Bolton boss regrets having to sell one of his star men Tigana in for Sukur S Sam's dream team

AM ALLARDYCE has a recurring dream but one which would be an absolute nightmare for the rest of the Premiership. The Bolton boss would have loved to have kept much sought-after striker Eidur Gudjohnsen and paired him with the big league's discovery of the season, Michael Ricketts. Eighteen months ago Allardyce and the club's directors were powerless to prevent Gudjohnsen moving on to Chelsea in a 4 million deal. "I know that if we had hung on to Eidur for another year we would have gone up into the Premiership with the pair of them and then we'd have had a better chance of persuading Eidur to stay."
